The Master's Degree in Maritime Engineering at Aalto University in Finland is an education programme through which students gain an in-depth understanding of the maritime engineering industry.
Aalto's 2-year, full-time Master's Degree in Maritime Engineering is based on principles within construction, design, and operation of off-shore structures and ships, including hydrodynamics, wind and wave loads, structural analyses, and stability. Teaching is made up of assignments, project work, lectures, and workshops. Theory within this education programme is suppored by experimental work, and computer simulations are used to convey concepts.
