Bachelor's Degree in Education Studies
The Bachelor's Degree in Education Studies program is designed to prepare students to work with learners of all ages within and outside of the education sector. Participants who complete this program will graduate with the skills and knowledge to work in educational and training advisory roles in a variety of organizations including businesses, non-government organizations, charities, local authorities, museums, libraries, and art galleries.
During this program students have the chance to study education alongside another subject of their choice, as well as choose a special pathway in Early Years Education, Community studies and International Education. They will also gain knowledge and understanding of:
- Debates about curriculum and its content
- The complexities of the learning process and the diversity of learners
- The development of schooling, teaching and education policy in the UK and internationally
- The wider economic, political and socio-cultural contexts of education research methods used in education
- The impact of inequalities in race, gender, class and disability
This program is suitable for A-levels BCC - CCC or equivalent IELTS 6.0 (no band below 5.5) or equivalent.
Degree & diploma
Upon completion of this program, graduates will be awarded a BA (Hons) in Education Studies.
