The School of Chemistry was founded in 1951, with its comprehensive strength and international influence at the top of domestic schools and some of its research reaching a leading edge internationally. In 201, the school ranked No.452 among the 1,034 international institutions listed in ESI International Academic Evaluation, which placed it in the top 1%.
Over the past five years, the teachers of the School of Chemistry here have made significant academic achievements with over 400 SCI papers published, with more than 150 papers published on J. Am ChemSoc, ADV. Mater., ACS Nano and other high-level academic journals. The school offers undergraduate programs in Pure Chemistry and Applied Chemistry, and master sand doctoral programs in the first-level chemical disciplines.
During graduate studies in chemistry, students will systematically study and master in-depth expertise theory in the chemistry engineering field. Students will learn the skills to work independently and undertake professional technical or management work. Graduates are prepared for teaching and scientific research work in related fields.
