Program description

Bachelor of Actuarial Science (Honours)

The amount of data available to corporations is expanding rapidly and require trained professionals to analyze this data and provide business insights. A degree in Actuarial Science at Bond provides you with a unique advantage as we are the only university in Australia to combine the Actuarial Science degree with real life Big Data training. Bond Actuarial graduates are thus very well placed in the job market and the skills are highly transferable between countries.

Undertaking the Bachelor of Actuarial Science (Honours) allows students with an Actuarial Science degree to further develop their technical skills and learn how they can be best used within a broader business and economic setting. You will also have opportunity to complete all the Part II subjects and receive a qualification with the Actuaries Institute and designation of Actuary. It is a requirement to complete Honours (Part II) if you wish to become a Fellow.

Bond is the only university in Queensland to offer the fully accredited program by the Actuaries Institute.
