The main objective of Applied Informatics programme is to deliver IT knowledge and specific skills needed for effective information systems management in a fast changing world. The Applied Informatics field of study focuses on theoretical principles of computer science, algorithmics, computer programming, database systems, operating systems, computer networks administration and maintenance, computer systems architecture, information systems analysis, artificial intelligence as well as information systems security issues.
The BSc in Applied Informatics programme has also been prepared to deepen knowledge about micro- and macroeconomics, management, business, corporate finance & accounting, marketing, law and quantitative methods.
During the Applied Informatics studies students will also be acquainted with theoretical and practical aspects of IT projects management and implementation, and teamwork. One of the main advantages of the Applied Informatics programme is education in two languages.
The BSc Applies Informatics programme was developed and implemented by Cracow University of Economics and “Education for Entrepreneurship” Association as the project “Launching a unique faculty Applied Informatics in response to labour market demand”
It is financed in the frame of the Operational Programme Human Capital, Submeasure 4.1.1. That's why there is no tuition fee, only the registration fee, wich is:
- EU citizens: 85 PLN
- Non-EU citizens: 200 EURO
After Bachelor programmes students can continue their studies on Master Programmes: MSc Corporate Finance and Accounting or MSC International Business
