Linköping University in Sweden
Linköping University (LiU) is a research-based university offering excellence in education. Located in Linköping and Norrköping in east Sweden, about 150 kilometres south of Stockholm. With over 27,000 students, the majority study in Linköping, on Campus Valla or the University Hospital Campus, and one fifth in Norrköping. LiU students and employees can travel between campuses by a university bus.
LiU is a multi-faceted institution where research and education are equally important. Since the founding in the late 1960s, LiU has been an innovator in the educational industry, creating new study programs and innovative ways to approach research.
LiU prides itself on the strong research conducted at the campuses. The openness between different subjects and faculties has contributed to a rich and dynamic environment at LiU.
