Earn a Bachelor in Art History and Studio Art
The Art History and Studio Art programme at McDaniel College Budapest in Budapest, Hungary is an education focusing on various types of art, and developing artistic and creative abilities. Art History and Studio Art students gain an appreciation of art as an essential element of a fulfilling life, and as a way to interpret both the present and the past.

Students enrolled in Art History and Studio Art courses are provided a conceptual framework, and an array of critical and technical skills necessary for expertise in the chosen discipline. These art techniques include drawing, graphic design, two- and three-dimensional design, digital photography, sculpture, painting, and web design.
The class sizes within the Art History and Studio Art courses are kept small so that students and faculty can closely work together. Art students complete a Senior Capstone Project involving an individual exhibition and major research paper, prepared in conjunction with a faculty advisor. In addition, students take field trips to various places in Budapest, and also to Venice and Vienna. International internships are also available for real-world art experience.
Upon completion of the Art History and Studio Art course, graduates are well-prepared to work in the field of art, whether in museums, fine arts, business and marketing, or graphic design firms. Art History and Studio Art graduates may also continue their academic courses in graduate school in art history, teaching, art history, or studio art.
