The Study Abroad Programme at Murdoch University in Perth, Australia is an education programme in which students can complete either 1 or 2 semesters of their degree studying abroad in Western Australia.
Murdoch's Study Abroad Programme provides students the opportunity to live and study on an Australian campus, and also travel to different parts of Australia. 20% of Murdoch University's students are international from more than 100 different countries, so students meet other students from all over the world.
Murdoch University offers an excellent support system to help students in the Study Abroad Programme through the challenges of studying abroad, and runs a number of excursions to places of interest in Western Australia. The most popular excursion is the North West trip, a 10-day camping safari to the remote Outback of Western Australia. Students on the North West trip have a chance to experience the incredible beauty of Australia in true Aussie style. Admission requirements for the Study Abroad Programme at Murdoch University in Perth, Australia are:
- Have completed at least one year of study at a recognised tertiary institution
- Be in good standing with your home institution and must have made sound academic progress
- Good academic merit
- If your first language is not English you will also need to demonstrate English language proficiency
