The PhD in Biochemistry requires participants to provide a presentation of a thesis on an approved research project, where the preparation consists of at least one article on the thesis for publication in a recognized journal.
Participants are also required to perform a presentation of a seminar related to the research topic or to a registered research project of the Department of Biochemistry and Microbiology.
The Department of Biochemistry and Microbiology may, when deemed necessary, offer formal lectures on topics of current interest in Biochemistry, or additional courses in this or any other department may be prescribed and examined accordingly.
Applicants for the PhD in Biochemistry need to have a Master's degree in Biochemistry.
