Visual Arts – All Grades (Art Education) MST from RIT
Through this MST from RIT, students will be prepared for the New York state certification in visual arts for grades K through 12, which allows students to teach in state public schools throughout New York. Students will explore a wide range of topics including pedagogical studies, studio inquiry and student teaching to complament their already obtained BFA or BA degree.

To be considered for admission to the MST program in visual arts–all grades (art education), candidates must fulfill the following requirements:
- Hold a bachelor degree in an art field from a regionally accredited college or university in the United States, with a major concentration in art, art education, or industrial arts education
- Have a minimum of 36 semester credit hours in drawing, painting, design, or the crafts
- Submit a portfolio
- Complete a graduate application.
