The course provides students with an in-depth understanding of tourism management on an international scale.

Furthermore, students will learn about sustainability within the tourism sector. During the third year, students will develop their research skills as well as have the opportunity to specialise in a certain tourist area such as:

The final year of the course enables students to gain real-life experience by completing a 7-month internship and finally writing a dissertation.
Upon completion of the Tourism Management course, graduates can work in many areas of the tourism sector such as travel agencies, tour operators and within the government sector. Many graduates go on to gain their Master’s degree in International Leisure and Tourism Studies which is also offered by NHL Stenden.
