The doctoral study program in manufacturing systems and processes is focused on scientific research and independent creative projects in the field of research or development.
The program aims to produce highly-educated and creative graduates capable of taking part in scientific, research and professional activities in the field of development of systems and processes in the production of machinery.
Graduates of the PhD program will be able to independently apply the mastered skills and the high level of theoretical knowledge provided in the fields of applied cybernetics, automation of machines and manufacturing processes, automation of production planning, and manufacturing systems with industrial robots.
Upon completion of the study program, graduates will succeed in teams of designers and controllers of modern manufacturing systems as well as in the research and development teams in both theoretical and applied research areas in major research institutions. Due to their profound knowledge and professional approaches, they will also succeed in a broader context as lecturers in international institutions.
Students interested in applying for this PhD program should meet the following requirements:
- Recognized tertiary education (Master degree) as prescribed by Act No. 49/2009, Coll. (not necessary for applicants from Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Germany and Slovenia)
