The Holocaust Studies Summer Program at Touro College Berlin in Germany is an education programme on the events and effect of the Holocaust which took place in Germany during World War II.
Touro College Berlin's Holocaust Studies Summer Program takes place at the Topography of Terror Foundation in the center of Berlin, and meets from 9am-12pm 5 days each week. Students enrolled in this education programme attend presentations by renowned scholars and also have guided tours of memorial sites lik the Sachsenhausen concentration camp, the Jewish Museum, the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, and the Berlin Wall Museum.
There are no prerequisite courses for the Holocaust Studies Summer Program, but students must be enrolled at a higher education institution in at least their 2nd year and have an interest in the Holocaust. The education programme may appeal most to students who are studying Jewish Studies, Women's Studies, German, Sociology, or Ethnic and Identity Studies.
Admission requirements for the Holocaust Studies Summer Program at Touro College Berlin in Germany are:
- enroll at any accredited college or university in the United States or in Great Britain
- at least in their 2nd year of study
