PhD in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology

In recent years, the development of scientific areas such a molecular biology, chemistry, surface physics and low temperatures have grown significantly in Spain. As a result, the research in these disciplines has been merging towards what is referred to as nanoscience and nonotechnology. 

The PhD in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology focuses on educating future scientists to work in this area of study and contribute to research groups and the competitive position of Spain. The program recieved a Mention of Excellence granted by the General Secretariat of Universities of the Ministry of Education in 2011 and has the support of multiple universities. 

Admission requirements

It is recommended that applicants have completed a master's degree in Nanoscience and Molecular Nanotechnology or another masters that is closely related to this PhD program.
