Computer Science Engineering - BSc
The University of Debrecen's Computer Science Engineering degree is designed to provide students with the knowledge and training to become IT engineers. Students who gain the Bachelor of Science qualification will have the skills to plan, develop, and service IT based solutions.
The course explores both the theoretical and practical aspects of Information Technology engineering. Core compulsory modules include:
- discrete mathematics
- computer architecture
- data structures / algorithms
- theory of computing
- technology control
- corporate information systems
- decision support systems
- high level programming
Once students have completed the core Information Technology engineering modules, they can specialize in:
- info-communication networks
- telecommunications systems
- measurement and process control
- simulation in computer systems
- corporate IT systems
The program will last 7 semesters for a total of 210 ECTS credits.
Language requirements:English language proficiency (TOEFL 513 /IELTS 5.5/oral examination)
Academic requirements:high school certificate; Mathematics and Physics (written and oral)
