Study global health at Groningen
The Medical Sciences Summer School Global Health at the University of Groningen is a 5-day education program aimed at providing students an overview of global health.
The Medical Sciences Summer School Global Health is divided into 5 pillars of Global Health:
- Equality, Economics and Right to Medicine
- Disaster Medicine
- Reproductive Health
- Infectious Diseases
- Non-Communicable Diseases
This diverse global health education program consists of workshops, excursions and demonstrations. Students also may participate in a number of social activities outside of the classroom, providing a peak into the Dutch culture.
With interactive lectures by both professors and doctors from the University Medical Center Groningen, the Medical Sciences Summer School Global Health is an ideal way of meeting other students interested in health around the world. Upon completion of the program, graduates earn a certificate.
The Medical Sciences Summer School Global Health at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands is available to undergraduate medical students with a special interest in global and sexual health.

The tuition fees for Medical Sciences Summer School Global Health: Universal Aspects of Reproductive Health are:
- 480 Euro per participant, including educational course, meals, accommodation in a student guesthouse, as well as several social activities
