From Genes to Cells: A Basic Course of Molecular, Cellular & Ultrastructural Biology
Through this summer course from University of Pisa, students will gain a practical, fully immersive education that covers biotechniques applicable to the study of cell biology, gene expression and function analysis, genotoxicity and ultrastructural observations.
The course is divided into two parts. The first part consists of theory-based lectures exploring modern technologies, while part two is practice-based laboratory sessions involving the design and execution of several experimental protocols around the main topics of the lectures.
This course is suitable for all undergraduates, postgraduates, post-doctoral researchers and senior researchers from Universities, research institutes, clinics and industries.
Applicants are required to present a curriculum based on scientific background (biology, medicine, natural science, physics, chemistry)
