STEP - Short Term Engineering Program - Summer Course
This summer course is an international exchange experience to students of:
- University of Pisa
- University of Illinois in Urbana - Champaign
- San Diego State University
The program is made up of five five-week courses split among the participating universities where they will explore a range of topics relating to engineering, including:
- Energy systems
- Italian culture and language (elementary level)
- Numerical analysis
- Role of women in Italian history
- English culture and language (mid - high level)
- Computer Programming and Applications
Class work will usually run Monday through Thursday, with Fridays dedicated to technical visits and lab/industry seminars, and weekends dedicated to cultural visits.
This course is suitable for university students and professionals who are (or have) enrolled in engineering classes. Contact the university to learn more.
The STEP in USA is open also to students of other Italian Universities upon evaluation of the STEP Committee.
