Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Information Technology (BBBI)
In this degree students complete 32 courses. Students are given a foundation in business and then study one of the major areas offered within the Bachelor of Business. Further studies are then taken in information technology, majoring in either Information Systems Development or Information Technology Management. To complete the degree students undertake further studies in any of these areas to graduate with a broad knowledge.
The emphases of this program are:
- overview of the business environment (broadly defined to include both private and public 'business') with specific emphasis on management and information technology issues
- vocationally oriented knowledge and skills that will enable students to identify, analyse and resolve business management and information technology problems in both the private (profit and non-profit) and public sectors.
The general objective of this program is to provide students with vocationally-oriented knowledge and skills that will enable them to identify, analyse and resolve business management and information technology problems in both the private (profit and non-profit) and public sectors. Achievement of the objectives in chosen major studies will enable a student to compete for positions in the relevant professional areas and to pursue career development and life-long learning. This program encompasses the specific objectives of both the Bachelor of Business and the Bachelor of Information Technology.

Candidates for admission into this program must satisfy the normal USQ entry requirements for undergraduate programs. Please refer to Academic Regulation 5.4.2 of the University Calendar, Section 1 (for Australian students) and Section 3 (for international students).
International applicants must have met the University's English language requirements or have completed the University's ELICOS/UNIPREP program.
