The Master of Computing Technology at University of Southern Queensland in Australia is a academically- and vocationally-oriented education programme which provides students with an in-depth knowledge of computing technology.
USQ's Master of Computing Technology is offered at its Toowoomba campus and can be completed in 1.5 years full-time or up to 4.5 years part-time. Students enrolled in this technology education programme gain knowledge and skills in key areas of computing which relate to their needs and the needs of their industry or profession. Students complete 12 units of education courses, which include:
- Computing Complementary Studies
- Web Technology
- Software Engineering
- Network Design and Analysis
- e-Commerce Technology
Majors which students may focus on within the Master of Computing Technology are Networking and System Security, Software and the Web. The education course is accredited at a Professional level by the Australian Computer Society and, through the Seoul Accord, is recognised in other countries.
Admission requirements for the Master of Computing Technology at University of Southern Queensland in Australia are:
- completion of a Bachelor's degree from an Australian university or equivalent
- have introductory knowledge of computing, consistent with thatfound in:
