The Master's in Health Sciences from University of Tampere in Finland approaches health issues from a public and global perspective.
The degree in international health and public health is taught by experts who have experience working in the health care systems both nationally and internationally.
Students of the health science degree have to options. Students can take a specialization in Public Health which allows students to work in national health care at a research and developer level. Or, students can specialize in International Health which has a focus on multicultural issues and the effects of globalization on health care.

Admission requirements to the Master's in Health Sciences (MHS) at University of Tampere:
- English language requirements: Proof through an internationally recognised English language test (unless native speaker or undergraduate degree was in English)
- A Bachelor in: public health, or medical sciences, or health sciences, or applied sciences from an accredited university
- Submitting documents: A certified copy of the undergraduate degree (translated to English or Finnish), a copy of the passport, transcript of records, and more
