The bachelor in classics and European identity program is dedicated mainly for non-European students interested in the exploration of the sources of European identity. Contemporary European culture is rooted in the ancient Greek and Roman culture and philosophy, in the Christian religion and, last but not least, in the scientific worldview of modern times.
For this reason, the program encompasses the elements of European history, philosophy, literature, culture, religion, science and politics. The program is comprised of courses of the modern and ancient European languages. As a result, graduates will gain basic knowledge about the history, culture and languages of Europe and will better understand the European mentality and its sources.
