Study Global Health at VU
The Masters in Global Health at VU University Amsterdam in the Netherlands is an education programme which provides an intense study of cross-cutting aspects of health systems.
VU's 2-year Masters in Global Health teaches students to cross disciplinary boundaries and interact with health professionals, patients, and others to gain an in-depth understanding of global health problems. Global health is a broad field of study, research, and practice geared toward improving health and achieving equity in health. VU's global health education programme introduces students to new and emerging infectious diseases, the rising costs of healthcare, and changing disease patterns.
Most health problems have political, economic, and social impacts. The world is in need of a vision of health which spans the entire globe, and the Masters in Global Health provides students with the knowledge to set out a strategic, cohesive action plan to create this solution. Students gain the latest insights in global health, as well as design and implement their own innovation and intervention strategies to address health challenges.
