Masters in Public Health - 1 year Full time / 3 year Part time

Imagine if you could be part of a workforce that helped advance healthcare systems, or helped to improve the health of whole communities. What if you could work within a team to help reduce inequalities in health distribution as well as playing a pivotal role in health promotion and screening? WMS want to help you achieve just that.

At Warwick Medical School they take healthcare and education seriously; and although they can’t offer you a perfect world, WMS can offer you the support of a University that really cares.

The Public Health Masters is available to study part-time or full-time, and can be taken as a Postgraduate Certificate, a Postgraduate Diploma or a full Masters. Modules can also be taken as stand-alone Postgraduate Awards.

The course covers numerous key topics including:

  • Health Screening
  • International Health Policy
  • Epidemiology and Statistics
  • Sociology of Health, Health Policy and the Social Determinants of Health
  • Public Mental Health and Well-being
  • Introduction to Management in Health Service Organisations

Admission requirements

This course will welcome applications from graduates with a good honours degree, or equivalent qualification, in an appropriate subject. WMS also consider candidates with a minimum of three years work experience in a relevant role.
