Welcome to Zhejiang!
Zhejiang University of Science and Technology (ZUST) is a full-time, public university with a focus on engineering in addition to disciplines in science, arts, economics, management, and education. Through technical know-know and first-hand experience, ZUST produces international specialists with applied skills.
ZUST has two campuses. Xiaoheshan Campus is located in Hangzhou, in one of China's most economically prosperous provinces, the Zhejiang Province. Nestled at the foot of Xiaohe Mountain beside a tranquil lake, the campus offers its students a peaceful environment. The Anji Campus is located in Anji County, which has been awarded the United Nations’ Habitat Scroll of Honor Award.
An International Focus
ZUST offers a number of distinctive, English-taught undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs. The university also provides programs for Chinese language beginners, and is prepared to receive transfer students with a basic knowledge of the language. With ongoing development in international cooperation, the number of international students at ZUST is increasing significantly. More than 1700 international students from 104 countries are studying at the university.
The university has worked in cooperation with German universities since its foundation, establishing an important platform for education and technology between Zhejiang Province and Germany, with an overall aim to cultivate international talent and innovation in applied sciences.
In addition, ZUST has successfully established cooperative relationships with 76 universities in countries such as the USA, Italy, UK, Australia, France, Japan, Korea, Holland, Belgium and Romania. The university continues to make progress in international cooperation, with developments in faculty and student exchange, research, and degree programs.
