Food Science and Engineering
Through this four-year Bachelor program from Zhejiang University of Science and Technology (ZUST), students will gain a developed knowledge of the key theories and principles of food science and engineering.
The dynamic and comprehensive course will cover fundamental topics in food science, including:
- engineering, technology, design
- food production research and development, and analysis and management
- entrepreneurship, marketing and innovative thinking, with an international perspective
- scientific research and technology
- production management, quality control, sales, inspection and quarantine, processing, distribution, import and export, supervision, and safety management
Students will benefit from advanced teaching and equipment in food R&D and analysis. Graduates may go on to pursue a variety of careers within food science, including teaching in food production.
Candidates should have fundamental knowledge of the subject (or related). There is no requirement for Chinese language proficiency, but non-native English speakers will need to hold English language proficiency certificates (e.g. TOEFL, IELTS or similar).
